How TribeAID collects, uses and protects information you share through tribeaid.org.
Who we are
TribeAID, Inc. is a Native-led, women-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit in New Mexico providing behavioral health care and support for tribal health programs. Our website address is https://tribeaid.org. Your health information
If you are a TribeAID client, the health information you share with us — including your intake form and anything discussed in sessions — is protected health information. We handle it as described in our Notice of Privacy Practices, which you receive when you begin services. You may request a copy at any time.
This Privacy Policy covers information collected through our website. Please do not send private health details through our website contact form or email list.
Information we collect
When you contact us
Our contact form collects your name, email address, tribal affiliation (optional), the topic of your message and the message itself. Your message is emailed to our staff, and a copy of outgoing website emails is kept in our website’s email log.
When you book an appointment
Our online scheduler (Simply Schedule Appointments, running on our own website) collects your name, contact details and appointment choices. This information is stored in our website database and used to confirm and manage your appointment.
When you complete the Client Intake Form
Our intake form is provided through Jotform, which collects and stores your responses on our behalf. Only authorized TribeAID staff can view submissions.
When you donate
Donations are processed by Zeffy, a free fundraising platform for nonprofits. Zeffy collects your payment details; TribeAID never receives your full card or bank account number. We receive your name, contact details and gift amount so we can thank you and provide a receipt.
When you join our email list
If you subscribe, your first name and email address are stored with our email service, MailerLite. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site secure and working. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Some pages load content from other services — Google Fonts, and the Zeffy and Jotform forms — which may receive your IP address when the page loads. WordPress may set essential cookies, for example for staff who sign in.
